About us

Validaide was founded in 2017 to help the life sciences logistics industry move from manual processes to one connected, data-driven ecosystem that protects shipments worldwide.

Today, with the largest up-to-date dataset in life science logistics, our platform connects more than 1,900 global logistics suppliers, pharma manufacturers, air carriers, packaging companies, GHA, trucking companies, and ocean carriers. This ecosystem forms the trusted digital backbone of the global life sciences supply chain. 

Key to this is objectivity. As a foundational pillar of our operations, objectivity at Validaide means users can rely on scientifically validated solutions for planning, monitoring, intervention, and release.

  • Security & strategic partnerships

    • Strategic integration partnership with SkyCell, combining Validaide’s qualitative logistics capability data with SkyCell’s quantitative shipment data to strengthen lane risk assessments.

    • SkyCell becomes a major shareholder in Validaide. 

    • Digital Cold Chain Forum 2024 hosted around 120 participants in Amsterdam. 

    • Validaide passed its first ISO 27001:2022 surveillance audit with zero findings.

    • Logistic Aid Ukraine launched in 2022 to support humanitarian logistics roll out. 

    • Digital Cold Chain Forum 2022 hosted around 80 participants.

    • 'Validaide achieves ISO 27001:2022 certification. 

  • Growth phase

    • Sartorius, our first pharma customer, joins the platform.  

    • Validaide community reaches 500 companies.

    • Qatar Airways Cargo onboard Validaide as a premium member.

    • Expansion of the logistics capability database and collaborative network. 

  • Founding & early growth

    • Validaide is founded in the Netherlands by Eelco de Jong and Mark Bilj. 

    • The mission is defined: digitize and standardize supplier qualification and lane risk assessment in pharma and healthcare logistics. 

    • Initial platform development and early market entry with joint projects with TU Eindhoven and Emball'iso.

    • Platform usage grows as freight forwarders replace spreadsheets and manual qualification processes with proactive, digital workflows.
