Validaide’s Participation at the Airfreight Pharma Event: Insights and Innovations in Pharma Logistics

Updated: 3 days ago

On October 30th, Validaide’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Natalie Niers, and Head of Capabilities Platform, Anastasia Themistocleous, attended the Airfreight Pharma event - a key gathering for the air cargo industry focused on pharmaceutical logistics. Bringing together six major conferences under one roof, the event offered a unique platform for aviation executives and industry stakeholders from around the globe to collaborate and discuss the future of air cargo and pharmaceutical product transportation.

Airfreight Pharma's primary aim was to deepen the industry’s understanding and handling of pharmaceutical products, bringing together experts and innovators to foster a seamless logistics chain. Delegates were encouraged to participate in open discussions about the future of pharmaceutical logistics, share best practices, and explore opportunities for greater cooperation between stakeholders.

Validaide's Role at the Event

During the event, Validaide showcased its capabilities and strengthened connections with industry players. Our COO, Natalie Niers, participated in a discussion with the audience focused on the "Opportunity for Joint GDP Audits" alongside Veronica Padilla, Chief of Staff at Qualifyze. This session delved into the critical subject of Shared GDP Audits and explored how shared audits could drive industry-wide efficiency relieving the audit burden.

Natalie also moderated a panel discussion about Resilience in AirFreight Pharma with Yulia Celetaria, Early Health Group, Romane Cordier, Integra LifeSciences, Olivier Mary, Euromed Pharma and Miguel Rodríguez, Qatar Airways. Main takeaway: Patience safety and compliance stands above all else and collaboration and Digitization are key enablers in Resilience between and with all LSPs along the route.

Anastasia, Validaide's Head of Capabilities Platform thoughts on the event " The Airfreight Pharma event was really interesting, as we were able to see the future of transportation of pharmaceutical products and not only in the air freight division," she said. "The event was well-organized, and the presentations and panels were incredibly informative. We had the opportunity to meet some of the airlines and ground-handling agents that we work so closely with, and discuss struggles and how Validaide can help them to overcome them."

As the landscape of pharmaceutical transportation evolves, Validaide remains committed to supporting industry efforts to streamline processes, improve safety standards, and contribute to shaping the future of pharma logistics. Through engaging discussions and strategic partnerships formed at events like Airfreight Pharma, Validaide is poised to continue driving progress in the global pharmaceutical supply chain.
